What a week it's been. Yesterday I went to the dentist and had the worst appointment I have had in my entire life. I have had awesome teeth up to this point but yesterday's check up yielded 4 small cavities all on my left upper side between the teeth. On top of that there is a cracked tooth in that same area. Really?? The dentist asked if I always chew on my left side and I had no idea what to tell her. Isn't it funny how you can't even recall something you do everyday? I spent the rest of the day over thinking how I chew every time I took a bite. I know, I'm nuts. The lesson I took out of the day? I am 6 months away from turning 40 and I am already thinking 40 Stinks!
Now I totally need to think of something happy so I am sharing a layout that is up at Practical Scrappers . It is a Ten Things challenge and the embellishment we worked with was zippers! How fun, right?
Check out the other ideas for using zippers. I even got the idea to recycle a zipper out of clothing that you are getting rid of. Saving money on this kind of trim = more for scrappy supplies, right?

Love your layout, Lisa, cute use of zippers! I can totally sympathize on the tooth problems. Back in Nov I had a root canal due to a cracked tooth (must have been cracked for years, b/c I had sensitivity in my mouth for awhile because of it), and just last week they found cavities like yours - in between the teeth! Guess we'd better pick up on our flossing, eh?
ReplyDeleteLove that layout. Was the background paper like that or did you alter.. looks amazing. Love the photo too - such cuties...

ReplyDeleteThe background paper is the Swagger line from Fancy Pants and was mostly like that. I did add the gray splattering and little inking around the edges. Thanks for your comments!
